Trade shows are a place where ART and BUSINESS intersect.

Art is often about impression- beauty is in the eye of the beholder, whereas business is about results- success and failure are black and white. The business objectives being sought by our customers vary, yet our approach is consistent- use great design to create the right impression and deliver the exhibit solution cost effectively in order to ensure reasonable returns for every exhibiting dollar spent. We measure our success by your success.

Client/Objective:

FLOW International is the world leader in waterjet technology and provides cutting solutions across a broad spectrum of industries. Flow's trade show program is an integral part of their sales effort-they have a large booth space in 4-6 shows annually including a 50x100 exhibit at the International Machine Tool Show (IMTS) held in Chicago every other year. Steelhead was asked to develope a brand new exhibit that could configure into spaces as small as 40x40 and as large as 50x100, with one catch-they didn't want to buy it.

The solution:

NEW BUILD OPTIONStm is a program Steelhead developed in 2005 for high frequency exhibitors, like FLOW, that want to leverage all of the financial and marketing benefits of renting their exhibits- without sacrificing design or quality. Steelhead designed and built a new custom exhibit for FLOW, and they have absolutely ZERO ownership costs. Flow makes monthly payments for specified term, keeping expenses to a minimum, non-performing assets off their balance sheet, and a fresh exhibit at each and every trade show.

Finally a solution both accounting people and marketing folks can agree on!
