Many studies have shown there is a lot of benefit in hydrating when we first wake up. If you’re already drinking water when you get up, great. You can still step it up, though.

Alkalize, Mineralize, Greenalize
I like to use these three words as guideposts in making a variety of healthy drinks FIRST thing in the morning: Alkalize, Mineralize, and Greenalize.
Greenalize is probably a word you're not familiar with. That's because it's completely made up. The idea, though, is simply to add some form of green to your water. Superfood like blue green algae, chlorella, spirulina, barley grass, wheat grass, and similar greens.
If the idea of putting greens in your water sounds strange to you, I get it. But there are a couple of flavor agents that make your “super morning drink” tasty enough to make it one of your daily habits. And even if you can’t do the greens part, you’ll still benefit from alkalizing and mineralizing your H2O.
Here is a short list I recommend. Feel free to mix and match what you think you would like best since you can't really go wrong.
Mineralizing
- Himalayan Pink Salt
- Trace Minerals Complex
- Fulvic Acid
- Shilajit

Alkalizing
- Sodium Bicarbonate (best taken alone and in small doses)
- Apple Cider Vinegar
Green Superfoods (as mentioned above)

- Blue Green Algae
- Chlorella
- Spirulina
- Barley Grass
- Wheat Grass

- Stevia
- Lemon
Wishing you the best!
