ISC West 2019 (April 9 - 12) is the biggest security trade show in the country, and it’s just a few months away. We’re excited to see all the great booths at this year’s show and thrilled that the event is taking place at the Sands Expo. We love the Sands’ huge floor plan and its proximity to a treasure trove of great Vegas attractions, dining options, and late night hot spots.

The Sands Expo is connected directly to The Venetian and all of its amenities, so there’s plenty to check out just steps from the show floor, especially for foodies. If it’s your first time to ISC West, or you’re just looking for some convenient new places to dine after the show, here are a few of our favorite places nearby.

1. Buddy V’s Ristorante

Celebrity chef, Buddy Valastro is behind this Italian-style eatery based on the family dinners he had growing up. Buddy V's is a great spot for groups who want a casual dinner that feels like a real, home-cooked meal. Plus, it’s got a great patio with panoramic views of The Strip!

2. Carlo’s Bakery

We admit it. We’re pretty fond of Buddy Valastro. If you’ve seen his show, Cake Boss, you probably know why. Since 1910, Valastro’s family has been whipping up Italian classics and incredible confections, including cakes, at their bakery in New Jersey. Now, those flavors are available in Vegas.

At Carlo’s Bakery, you can get rich, cream-filled cannoli, incredible cheesecake, and a wide variety of other delicious treats. Or, maybe you want a 14-foot alligator cake!?

3. Lagasse’s Stadium

This year, ISC West hits town just as baseball season kicks off and the NBA heads into the playoffs. If you’re a diehard sports fan, there’s no better place to catch the game than at Lagasse’s Stadium.

With over 100 TVs, stadium -style seating, and an outdoor patio, there’s no better place to see your favorite team play. The best part? Instead of chips and dip, you can chow down on game-time snacks developed by Emeril Lagasse.

4. Black Tap

For casual, late-night dining, Black Tap is our favorite. They’ve got a huge selection of incredible burgers and a milkshake list you won’t believe. It includes flavors like Fruity Pebbles and cotton candy, but what makes it even better is the option to add your favorite liqueur to the mix.

5. Bouchon

Fine-dining fans should check out Bouchon, a French-style bistro run by celebrated chef, Thomas Keller. Named by Time magazine as “America’s Best Chef,” Keller has won a ton of awards, including Michelin Stars and nods from the James Beard Foundation. Make sure to make reservations though. This incredible restaurant tends to fill up quickly.
